Well, if you been recently denied something (a credit card, loan, etc.) you are entitled for another free credit report. If this isn’t the case, you’ll have to pay the fee.

if you have been deined credit ,,,you can get another report ,, over the phone ,, and they will ask if you want your score,,, you will have to pay for this .. about 6.95…
if you can get all 3 scores for $15.00 do it… good price…
the fair and issacs is the only true credit score.
i am not pluging any business ,,, i want to share with you
a man named stephen snyder wrote this book and several others ,, “credit after bankruptcy” very good reading .. he deals with all these card issues … get signed into his e mail ,, and he updates all the time…
this is something that everyone should be aware of…

If you get a Washington Mutual credit card (not the ATM card with the MasterCard logo) as a free service they list your credit score on your online access web page.
It’s a no annual fee card, and it is routinely updated. Even if you get a copy of your credit report, it most often won’t include your credit score unless you get it from a service that specifically says it is included.

YZerizef is confused. Your are allowed a free copy of your credit report each year from http://www.annuallcreditreport.com. The score in not included. You said you have used that already anyway. $15.00 sounds good to me. The only way I know that is less expensive is to get someone else to pay for a credit monitoring service that allows unlimited access to your report and score. My bank offered this service do ‘qualified customers’ in 2006. I don’t know if they will do the same in 2007.

By law, you are eligible to check your credit score one time for free per year. The website is http://www.annualcreditreport. com. Don’t fall for other scams that make you pay exorbitant fees. Unfortunately you can only check it once per year. After that you will need to pay a minimal fee.

Just watch how many times your credit is checked; if you or anyone keeps checking your credit, it puts you in a lower bracket and at risk. When I went car-hunting, I took along my son in law who works for the credit bureau. Everytime we went to a car lot and talked to a sales representative, they wanted to run a credit check. Finally my son in law after he said “no, we don’t need that,” about 3 times, said, “What don’t you understand?” We finally left and went somewhere else.
