Which Site Is The Real “free Credit Report” Website?

You hear from all sorts of places about getting your free credit report, but you just have to sign up for a free trial. And there’s always that catch. I saw something yesterday on the TV about a free credit report being offered and the offer expires end this month? I can’t remember who it was. Also, that offer aside, what is the legit place to get access to your once a year, free credit report? I don’t trust half of what I read….

if you are looking for the free credit report and score national site, check out this site
http://free-credit-report-national.com/
Here you can see your 3-in-1 Report from all three credit reporting agencies and your credit score.

The “real” one is where you write all 3 of the credit reporting agencies and ask them by letter for your free yearly report. You’d have to make a copy of your ID/Drivers License and some other important paper to prove who you are. If you don’t send the right item they will send you a form of what is acceptable to send and you copy that then and send it to them. In a few weeks you will receive your free report. Their snail mail addresses are on the internet (try the search engine). There is no expiration date on this.

This is the only legitimate one that gives you free credit reports from each of the big three agencies:https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/i…
Once you’re at that site, there are links to each one of the three agencies. READ EVERY PAGE VERY CAREFULLY. There are links that you can click to get your free report from each one, but make sure you don’t inadvertently click on any other link that might sign you up for a pay service.
Note that the free report you get will NOT contain your FICO score. For that, you do have to pay, no matter which of the three agencies you request it from.
