Is There A Free Credit Report Site With No Strings Attached ?
Everytime I try to go to a “free credit report”website,it is never free.There is always a “catch”.Are there any credit report sites that are absolutely free?

No there isn’t. I have personally checked out over 200 oif the sites, they all want you to subscribe to their newsletter or some crap to get your free report.

If you applied for any type of credit and was turned down the credit companies have to give it to you for free.all you have to do is write them and ask for it.

The Federal Trade Commission is the major agency watching over this area.
Here is an entry from its site….

NO.
One time thought I could get a real “free credit report”, and ended up doing all sorts of loops and tricks and filling out extensive forms and found out that I got a Free 30 day trial offer. This was all online.
THEN…
I had an error. My online efforts ended up that I had to call an “800″ for personal assistance.
To make a long story short. They couldn’t find any information on the MasterCard that I have had (and Iupdated) for 10 years. That lost my faith in any Credit Company that can’t find information on my Credit after I gave them all my pesonal information and the credit card information.
For Crap Sake, that is what their company is all about, and they couldn’t do their job. I wonder how they actually operate.

No, but you can get them absolutely free in writing. They should have their addresses on their web sites. You get one free report a year and you have to include that in your letter to them.

yes there is. there was a new law passed that everyone is entitled to one free report every year. the website is annualcreditreport.com

By law you are entitled to one free report each year and this is the one that is totally no strings attached.
