requested a loan or refinancing from anyone. I called the credit bureaus and put a fraud alert on my account. Can someone get a loan in my name and it not be on my credit report. Also the inquiry was from a mortgage company, I found out.

I had a similar hit and when I contacted “Nordon”, they are trying to go after me for a loan that I paid off 14 years ago. Be careful, but check into it before you try to buy a house. It could really mess you up! – I’m 3 weeks away from buying my first house and did not know about this “hit” until a couple of months ago. I hope and pray it does not mess with my mortgage.
