You have to sign a contract for a year that is charged to your checking account monthly. $25 I think. The first one is free after you sign up but you have to cancel before a month is up.
If you sign up and then cancel keep detailed notes of the time, date and person you spoke to. They tend to not have a record of your call and keep charging you.

The previous answer is true of freecreditreport.com however anyone can go to0 the website of each of these credit reporting agencies and request a free credit report once a yr.
