Please note that your credit score is not included and is not free. You can purchase your score at http://www.myfico.com. You will need a credit card.

annualcreditreport.com is the real free site to check your credit file for free once a year.
NOT freecreditreport.com – They require a credit card and enrollment in their monthly service to get your “free credit report.” It’s a scam…but they need your money to pay for all those dumb commercials…..
You cannot get your credit/FICO score for free…you have to pay extra for this. https://www.annualcreditreport.com/

maxmom56 is correct! The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires all 3 major credit bureaus to provide you with 1 free report, per company, per year.

Go to annualcreditreport.com — I think
If it says free — its a scam
Never pay for your score until you have had a chance to review your reports and make all your changes.

You can use a visa debit card or if you do not have a bank account buy a prepaid visa, works just like a cc for purchases online
