For The Free Credit Report, Aren’t We Suppose To Get The Credit Score For Free Too?

Learn how I deleted 7 negatives in one day!
I want to know my FICO credit score for free, but none of the 3 major credit report companies (Equifax, Transunion, Experian) provide this info for free, only my good and bad (none) standings and balances. Is there a way I can get my FICO score for free? Maybe Attorney General Consumer Affairs or Consumer Protection? Please help. Thanks.

NO! the three give u a report of ur credit history… the score is always optional and they charge u for it… ALWAYS! unless you were denied credit and then u have the right to all!

as far as i know the only “free” way to get your credit score is to apply for credit. when the creditor is searching your credit he/she can view your score, but that means you will have to apply for credit (obviously). i agree with the others. you can get your report free but not the score. in my experience, you only need to get it from one of the reporting companies (either Equifax or Experian- most places use one of these)

When I went to freecreditreport.com, it showed me my score, but I really had to search for the link. I didn’t pay a dime.
However, if you decide to get your free credit report, you should know how to cancel. You have to cancel within 7 days or they charge you, and that’s why they need a debit/credit card #… but it really is free so long as you cancel. Anyways, here’s the link:

buildcredit.ifastnet.com – try this site. I monitor my credit score here during last 3 years. And also cleaned off some bad items from my credit report. You can apply for free initial plan and get your scores and reports for free.

Nope. You can get your free credit report. But you always have to pay for your score.
