This is the most legitimate website for a free credit report. By law, you are entitled to a free report from the 3 credit bureaus every year with exception when you have been denied credit, or victim of fraud. You do need to fill out the information requested.
They will not charge you for the credit report itself, but they are hoping to sell you other things like a credit score, for example. I belong to this and I get a free credit report every year. They even send out a reminder that it is time for your annual report. When they give you access, you can only print it out, you can’t save it. So make sure, you have a printer available when you do access it. It will be one-by-one.

is the legitimate company where you are given a free copy of all 3 reports each year
all the others that claim to give you a free report ask for a credit card which is not needed at annualcreditreport.com

annualcreditreport.com gives you a free credit report from all 3 agencies once a year. but they do not give you a free fico score
